The 17th Choice of Animation, Comics & Games Expo Anime, Gundam, Kamen Rider, Ultra Man, Marvel, Avengers, Star Wars, Disney, Hello Kitty, Doreamon, Funassyi, Yo-Kai Watch, Vanguard, Yu-Gi-Oh, J-Pop, Assasination Classroom, Attack on Titan, One Piece, Cosplay, Playstation, Xbox, Window 10, Manga, Comic, Manga, Manga... and more Manga. On Monday, I had a day of a lifetime, seeing so much things I love. Life has been busy so it has taken me so long to write this post. I went with my sister, and there was this one main point why this day has been so great. Is the fact that nearly all the people who attended this festival were young adults like me, and... very nerdy. You know how I mentioned I rarely see people my age these days, and that they have seemed to have vanished from my world, and that all that's left is annoying children, bitchy adults and super dumb elderly people??? That's why seeing young adults like me are such a huge deal to me! An...

Drama Thoughts: Tatakau! Shoten Girl

Image
Title:「戦う!書店ガール」 Run time: 2015.04.14 - 06.09, Tuesday 10pm I seriously do not understand why this drama had such low viewership ratings. I mean, I know people don't really watch that much television anymore, but for a drama this good, it was a bit of a shame. But since this drama is mostly about books, I guess it's not many people's kind of shit. The thing is, I love books. Books is my life. I have lost count of how many books I've read in my life. I have worked in a library before, and currently I, too, work in a bookstore (yeah, I finally told you where I work, sigh). Which was why when this drama was first announced, I couldn't wait to see it. The title is Tatakau! Shoten Girl , which literally translates to "Fight! Bookstore Girl". And since I can relate to the drama with my real personal life, it makes it that much more good. Except the fact that my colleagues are all older men and women, and none my age, I envy the fact that in the drama...

I want to see MaoJun BABIES!!

Image
Just some random messed up opinions from my weird ass mind. Is the recent, well... uhum, not really recent... more like never-ending... news about Jun and Inoue Mao getting married. I don't know if the darn media is trying to make this up to get people hyped up or what their purpose is, but this thing is starting to do my head in, making me begin fantasizing what it would happen if this shit is real. I know the whole Hana Yori Dango thing was precious, but I guess even the media is obsessed, can't let them go, sigh. Well, this is my imagination of what will go down. Mao is pretty. She is mature. She looks great with Jun. Jun is happy. Mao is happy. Leave them alone. Oh, and I'm imagining one or two babies too. Girls most definitely, because I cannot see Jun having boys, sorry. Lol. Arashi will remain unaffected. I will be very happy for Jun. I mean, he deserves it. And I sometimes imagine what it would be like to have parents who were once on-screen couples, I would probabl...

Why Maou should have ended like Revenge...

Image
I have began watching Revenge since way before I've seen Maou . Since then, I have always thought Revenge is so similar to Maou in the sense that both is about revenge on those who have destroyed their family, but with Revenge a lot more detailed and complicated. Maou was short and straight forward. Well,  Maou is a Japanese drama, whereas Revenge is American, so it makes perfect sense. And now that I have finally watched the finale of Revenge , my mind is just basically filled with "ah, this ending is how Maou should have ended". Revenge has the best ending, ever, for a vengeance drama, and if Maou had ended like that, I bet it would have been more well received. 5 points on why Revenge is similar to Maou : 1. Main character switched name and identity in order to carry out revenge plan 2. Battle between the two main characters 3. Main character uses manipulation to carry out revenge plan (i.e. use others to kill) 4. Nearly all supporting characters di...

Why Ninomiya Kazunari is still the best at age 32

Image
Ninomiya Kazunari is not normal. If you put him along with other people the same age as him, he will look out of place. Like, just put him in the age 20's category because no way he's over 30. Wait, I think I may have his youth power too. Maybe when I'm over 30, the same thing will happen to me. But then again, he look great with the rest of Arashi, so maybe he's alright afterall. XD I knew of Nino since I was 10 years old. I was still in England. Was still in primary school. Watched Letters from Iwo Jima and BAM, fell in love with the guy. I had been (sort of) following him since then, and watched some of his dramas and movies along the way. But I wasn't, like, obsessed, you know what I mean? So I didn't know about Arashi. Weirdest thing was that I only knew he was in Arashi after I looked up the group. Which was kind of creepy actually. Other than the fact that Sho and Jun caught my attention when I was watching Arashi's older shows, Nino w...

Album Thoughts: ARASHI / LOVE

Image
Title:「LOVE」 Artist: 嵐 Release date: 2013.10.23 I've been busy with work and some other crap that keeps happening to me that I nearly forgot about this blog. I haven't posted anything this month so the first idea that comes into my mind is to do an album thoughts post, because you know, I have made a promise. Well, sort of. Anyway, this time is, of course, the album that was released previously before THE DIGITALIAN , Arashi's twelfth album  LOVE , which is of course, an absolute killer album, if you didn't already know.   This album was released after all members were finally into their 30's, and it is the beginning of the show of their maturity. Because I'm saying this now after a year and a half since the release so this probably wouldn't be as effective as if I did this back then, so this time I really couldn't be bothered to go on about my experiences with the album when it was first released. Okay, maybe I will go on a little bit. Since...

ARASHI IS SO FUNNY I CAN'T HANDLE!!

Image
I'm currently busy with my new obsession, that is, AKB48. The damn girls have been growing on me lately, but of course, I won't forget my number one obsession, Arashi. And after their latest Arashi ni Shiyagare episode, I want to do a post on my thoughts on the new format of AniShi after its renewal recently. I find the current format to be really good, and definitely much better than their last one. It is more similar to the show's first format, it's fun, nostalgic, yet different and better , with the members getting out there, yet without losing its original purpose, that is, for the members to do challenges. I especially am also very very very grateful and thankful to Arashi for getting rid of the food porn section that they always do on every single episode. I'm not saying they don't do it anymore, but they have limited that stuff, and that makes me happy. No need for that shit when they could do something else more interesting. The setting (the studi...
