I have to say, the drama movie sequel was definitely a much better and satisfying watch. Not much have changed about the awkwardness of it, but it was a movie which gave me warm fuzzy feelings as Kis-My-Ft2's Gravity  began playing when the credits started rolling. I was honestly so touched by this movie I'm actually impressed with it. Not that there's anything special about it, but the relationship between Rei and Kira just moved me. Kubota's role as Makio in this was just to be the really annoying asshole who always gets in the way of the two lovers. His character wasn't just annoying, though. He was a complete psycho. I found it awkward that the two male leads were in their late 20's, but I guess that's fine since they made it look believable. At first I thought it was just some cliché love story between a girl and two guys. But then I realised that one of the guys likes the other guy, and not the girl, so that made it different. Fujigaya Taisuke is the reason why this drama is bearable to watch. Let's be honest, he's handsome. And his acting wasn't bad either. Though there was some slip bits that I noticed while watching. Kubota Masataka was just creepy throughout the whole drama. I mean I know he was supposed to be because of the role that he was playing, but I just thought, was that Light I'm watching again? Title:「デスノート」 Run time: 2015.07.05 - 09.13, Sunday 10:30pm I'm so sorry, I've been so lazy with this blog that a post that's supposed to have been finished last month is finally up now. (Sigh) Anyway, I remember back in April, when this drama was first announced, I was freaking out because I thought they were going to mess up my childhood goodness. But what was the result? I got so hooked on it I couldn't stop. I really have to say the producers have done a pretty good job with this, despite all the negative responses. I mean, there are flaws, but I don't care because Light and L is hot. *^O^* I'm going to say it again, Death Note has been with me since I was 10 years old (well, that's the year it was released, lol). Read the manga, seen the anime series like over 10 times, and I love it so much.
